Kick has welcomed Daniel Langton, AI at Work Lead for Microsoft EMEA, as its Microsoft Executive Sponsor, strengthening the relationship between the two organisations and creating new opportunities to deliver greater value for customers.
Microsoft Executive Sponsors work closely with selected partners to provide strategic guidance, help remove barriers and strengthen alignment where there is a clear opportunity for shared growth.
Daniel will work with Kick’s leadership team as the business continues to develop its Microsoft-led strategy. His support will include helping Kick sharpen its go-to-market plans, build stronger connections across Microsoft and make the most of the expertise, investment and programmes available through the Microsoft ecosystem.
For Kick’s customers, closer alignment with Microsoft will provide greater insight into the direction of its technology and the opportunities emerging across AI, cloud and business applications. It will also support Kick in turning those developments into practical solutions that help organisations work more effectively, strengthen resilience and realise measurable value from their technology investments.
Extensive Microsoft and partner experience
Daniel brings 19 years of experience at Microsoft and currently leads growth across Copilot, agents and Microsoft’s core technology portfolio throughout EMEA.
His previous roles include serving as Chief of Staff to Microsoft’s UK CEO for four years, leading partner marketing and supporting Microsoft’s small and medium business market. He has also managed a portfolio of growth partners, giving him extensive experience of helping organisations build successful and productive relationships with Microsoft.
Daniel Langton said:
“I’ve seen the trajectory at Kick, and I’m inspired by the vision. My aim is simple: to ensure the team gets the most out of partnering with Microsoft, and that we maximise this unique market moment together.”
Daniel has already begun spending time with Kick’s Executive Committee to gain a deeper understanding of the business, its customers and its plans for growth.
His involvement will extend beyond strategic advice. He will provide practical input as Kick develops its go-to-market approach and help the business strengthen relationships across Microsoft, access relevant programmes and identify opportunities where the two organisations can work more closely.
Steven Brown, CEO at Kick, said:
“Strengthening our relationship with Microsoft is an important part of Kick’s strategy and our commitment to helping customers get greater value from their technology.
“Daniel brings extensive knowledge of Microsoft, its partner ecosystem and the opportunities developing across AI and the wider cloud platform. His insight and support will help us stay closely aligned with Microsoft’s direction and turn that alignment into meaningful outcomes for our customers.
“We’re looking forward to working with Daniel and building an even stronger relationship between Kick and Microsoft.”
The executive sponsorship comes as Kick continues to invest in its Microsoft capabilities and build its services around four core solution areas: AI Business Solutions, Cloud, Cyber and Contact Centre as a Service.
By working more closely with Microsoft, Kick aims to give customers clearer guidance, stronger access to expertise and a more connected path from technology investment to business value.
